What we are

State of the Artze is a lean creative agency known for its branding expertise, hot art direction, catchy copywriting, chameleon-like graphic design, and savvy social media management. We’re based in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.

Who we are

We’re a group of friends who come together and tackle strategic & brand-focused creative solutions for your business problems. A curious, humorous, and friendly bunch of brand strategists, copywriters, and graphic/packaging/web designers working with clients from both Puerto Rico & the United States.

What we do

We solve problems by exploring design solutions that are appropriate for the client’s market as well as synthesizing current trends that steer away from the obvious. Our focus is on UX-driven design solutions, packaging, brand strategy, identity systems, advertising, and marketing collateral.

Why we do this

In our professional opinion, design can aid business, and not just by making it look good. We believe good design adapts to the style of what the market calls for. We walk the fine line between art & design and find ways to inject humanity into our work to keep it from feeling bland or stale.

How we do this

Before even putting pencil to paper, we ask questions and have difficult conversations that distill what the client’s company wants to corroborate what they need and how we may offer guidance. We listen, learn, and research to find creative solutions tailored to the budget and timeframe.

When we’re not designing…

Besides staring into the deep blue sea of pixels on our computer screens for half our days, you’ll probably find us enjoying live bands, watching movies, eating good food, making music, or exploring the outdoors.
