Latidos restaurant is this fine marriage between the culinary and performing arts filled with fiery passion and long nights. It's located in the heart of Santurce, PR in an old church that was, up until recently, a well-known record store. They wanted a circus/magic, carnival feels without the stereotypical attributes that dared to try new things. We went with blood red for the dare and a mellow yellow for balance.

After talking a few times, we decided that passion and courage were the spearheads of their spirit. They said they wanted a heart because it takes heart to try and eat the type of delicate they were bringing to the table. I made their brand as dynamic as their menu sounded. Fluid and iconic like the dance of a flame. It’s a simple yet imposing image.

It was nice to drive by the building at night and see the neon sign shining bright. My heart will always be in Santurce.
